To remain on the original Trusty stack, there are a few options: Those running virtual or cloud images should not need this newer hardware enablement stack and thus it is recommended they remain on the original Trusty stack. This newer hardware enablement stack will be comprised of the kernel and X stack from the Vivid 15.04 release.
